Junction 4 Pallets- Coventry

Junction 4 Pallets

On behalf of Junction 4 Pallets, a nationwide pallet manufacturer and distributor, we undertook the remediation of a brownfield site previously used for petrochemical purposes. The site required extensive preparation to transform it into a suitable space for commercial use. Our team managed the complete site re-profiling, utilizing a cut and fill approach to ensure the land was properly leveled and prepared for further development.

As part of the project, we installed two surface water attenuation ponds to manage stormwater runoff and prevent flooding, along with below-ground drainage systems and ducting to ensure effective water management and utility connections. Additionally, we were responsible for erecting a 60m x 30m steel frame building, which provides essential storage and operational space for the client.

A key component of the project was the casting of a 19,000m² concrete yard, a significant undertaking that required large-scale concrete work. Our team meticulously prepared the base, ensuring the proper mix, reinforcement, and curing process to guarantee the durability and longevity of the yard. This required precise coordination, as well as the use of high-quality materials to meet the demanding requirements of heavy-duty commercial operations.

Throughout the entire project, our experienced project management team ensured seamless coordination and execution. We handled all aspects of the work, including resource allocation, scheduling, subcontractor management, and adherence to safety and environmental standards. By overseeing every phase of the project, we ensured timely delivery and maintained the highest standards of quality, allowing Junction 4 Pallets to move forward with their operations in a safe and efficiently designed facility
